Position Overview
Power Volleyball Academy offers summer camp opportunities for Girls, Boys and Adults of all ages and skill levels for both indoor and beach.
Our skilled coaches specialize in developing Youth, Junior High, High School, Elite and Collegiate level athletes.
Help Wanted
The PVA Summer Camp coach will help run court events and assist with leading off court group events, monitor camp athletes and respond to incidents, such as behavioral problems or accidents, log events and maintain records relating to activities, and discuss camper participation and concerns with the camp director.
On Court responsibilities will include active on court participation with camp athletes and helping facilitate the on court activities.
Off court responsibilities will include traveling with athletes to and from dorms the dining hall as well an off court activities.
Required Qualifications
Our camps are highly engaging and camp coaches should be prepared to engage with each athlete while on the court by providing accurate and significant feedback specific to the activity or skill being trained. As a camp coach you should be able to provide the necessary training / feedback required by the camp athlete.
- Valid USAV membership with USAV Impact Certification
- Valid AAU membership
Preferred Qualifications
PVA Summer Camps is a quality program for all levels, Elite, Intermediate and Beginner. Our campers are aged 9-18 years old.
- Minimum 3 years coaching experience at the Middle School, High School or Club level
- USAV CAP1 Certification
